Our Story
Bratzo Basagoitia was raised in Coastal Lima, Peru. When he moved to San Diego, he began sharing his family recipes with friends for dinner parties. Eventually, he realized sharing the food of Peru was his calling and decided to leave the environmental industry to start Café Secret. Café Secret is a small, humble café located on the historic Hwy. 101 in the heart of Del Mar. Our goal is to treat every customer like a guest in our own home.
